This policy describes what rubyporn.com collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Everyone

• Request logs. Each request records the time, the path, the response status and how long it took, together with a request identifier. These exist to diagnose faults.
• Country, and in some places region. Supplied by our network provider from your IP address. We use it only to decide whether age verification is required where you are. Browsing is not logged against your IP address.

If you create an account

• Your email address, so you can sign in and recover access.
• A hash of your password. The password itself is never stored and cannot be recovered from the hash.
• The dates you registered, verified your email and last changed your password.
• The IP address you registered from, and the one used to change your password. Only those two events. It is kept so that abuse and account-takeover complaints can be answered; it is not used to track what you look at.
• Which galleries you liked, so your list of likes is there when you come back.

If you contact us

The message you send. The form asks for no address: a ticket belongs to an account, so the answer goes to the address that account is verified at, and appears in the ticket itself.

If you verify your age

Age verification, where a region requires it, is performed by a third-party provider. We never receive or store your identity document. What we keep is a record that a check succeeded: the provider, its reference, the region, the date, and when the check expires.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
• We do not build advertising profiles.

Cookies

We set cookies only where they are needed for the site to work: a session cookie when you are signed in, and, where age verification applies, a signed token recording that a check succeeded. Neither is used for tracking.

Who else sees your data

• Our network and hosting providers, which necessarily handle your requests.
• An age-verification provider, if your region requires a check.
• Anyone we are legally required to disclose to.

How long we keep it

• Request logs: a short operational retention period.
• Account records, including the addresses above and your likes: until you delete your account, then a grace period during which you can ask for restoration, then erased.
• Contact messages: as long as needed to deal with the matter.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Open a ticket on the contact page.

If you have an account you can delete it yourself at any time, without asking us.

Children

This site is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may change this policy. The date above records the last change.
